This artesanal joven mezcal from Espiritu Lauro is an ensamble mezcal, made using 70% espadin and 30% sanmartin agave. Produced in small batches in San Agustin Amatengo, Oaxaca, this is full of earthy smoke, and grassy, herbal notes.
Vibrant and with subtle smoky notes as well as dried grass, bright herbs, some citrusy elements, and lots of sweet agave.
Such a complex and beautiful blend. One of the best out there!!
