El Rey Zapoteco has been producing artisinal Mezcal since the 1960s, making it one of the oldest producers in Oaxaca! The family run estate grows its own agave and ensures traditional methods throughout the production process. This particular expression is made with the Tobalá agave, which takes a whopping 12-15 years to reach maturation. This is patience in a bottle right here, and oh it was worth the wait!
