
Single Village Mezcal from Del Maguey, made using Tobala agave which are grown at a very high elevation. They are also much smaller than your average agave plant. It takes about eight of these Tobala hearts to equal the output from one Espadin heart, which are more commonly used.
Burnt rubber, mango and hints of vanilla ice-cream.
More mangoes and more smoke, but the smoke pulls back to allow some cinnamon to shine through.
The cinnamon keeps shining during the very long finish.
Fantastically tasty. Plenty to love and mull over.
