This joven mezcal from Montelobos is produced in Puebla, from a partnership between founder Iván Saldaña and the Alva family who have been growing Tobalá agave for many years. It's produced exclusively from the cultivated Tobalá agave, which are roasted for up to a week in a pit in the ground before going through a double distillation.
