Sorry about this...

We can't actually ship Alipus San Baltazar (47.4%) to the United States at the moment (although we're working hard to fix that).

In the meantime, our friends over at The Whisky Shop might be able to help you out.

Thank you for your support and understanding 🙂

Alipus San Baltazar 47.4% Bottling Note

This artisanal Alipus San Baltazar Guélavila Mezcal is produced using Espadin agave by small batch, father and son distillers Cosme and Cirilo Hernández.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Gentle smoke and agave distillate with a mineral, tinny edge.

Palate: Great mouthfeel, more roast (burned?) agave and balanced with sweetness. Earthy, but not particularly vegetal at all.

Finish: Sugar cane smoke.

Overall: Quite nuanced and different to other mexcals we've enjoyed recently - just what you hope for from a mezcal that's been specifically sourced from a small traditional producer.
