Nose Gentle smoke and agave distillate with a mineral, tinny edge.
Palate Great mouthfeel, more roast (burned?) agave and balanced with sweetness. Earthy, but not particularly vegetal at all.
Finish Sugar cane smoke.
Overall Quite nuanced and different to other mexcals we've enjoyed recently - just what you hope for from a mezcal that's been specifically sourced from a small traditional producer.
