Description

Bual is the second sweetest style of Madeira after malvasia (aka malmsey). It produces rich, toffee-laden wines which nevertheless have that famous Madeira tang that makes them so refreshing and versatile. Try this with Stilton instead of Port and just a splash at the end will take your gravy into another dimension.

Overall

Caramel, vanilla and smoky molasses on the nose. Full-bodied and sweet balanced by a full acidity, orange peel, and layers and layers of nuts.
