It turns out that you can distil Christmas puddings, and that's exactly what Wilkin & Sons did for the wonderful boozy arm of its Tiptree range. Small batch English rum was distilled alongside hand-made Tiptree Christmas puddings for the ultimate festive liqueur. An after dinner sipper, this one.
Dried fruit and lots of lovely Christmas spices, with nutmeg and clove, a frangipane note and orange peel, brown sugar and a slightly tropical back note from the rum.

Smooth, rich and definitely tastes of Christmas Pudding. A pleasant after dinner treat and delicious poured over home made ice cream. I'm just about to order a second one - a real treat.
