Bought this after a cruise ship tasting and I love whisky - this is a sipworthy drink that my whisky/rum drinking friends have fallen in love with. At 33% ABV it’s stronger than your average liqueur hence the attraction. I’m looking to adapt it with other things like mixers & ice-cream.
Very syrupy and sweet. It's alright in coffee. But, sadly, not for me this one.
On our second bottle - we love Shanky's and family/friends that we have given tasters now also love it.
Love Shanky’s and I don’t like most whiskey. I served it as a dessert ..2 parts Sgankys to 1 part root beer and then added a big scoop of ice cream! Total hit. It’s good with cola, ginger ale or just sipping.
