A delectable gin liqueur from the Sunderland-based spirits producer, Poetic License. St. Clements is a celebration of all things citrus! Made in the team’s 500-litre hybrid still affectionately named Gracie, St. Clements offers a wash of fragrant aromatic freshness that’s delicious in an array of cocktails, and when sipped alone.
Nose: A whole basket of fresh oranges, complemented by a kick of pepper and balanced with earthy juniper and green spices.
Palate: Lemon tart, grapefruit peels and satsuma peels, along with cardamom, coriander and angelica from the base gin (Poetic License's award-winning Northern Dry Gin!).
Finish: A lingering balance of juniper and all that citrus.
