Cuthbert's Passion Fruit Bottling Note

Mrs Cuthbert's Passion Fruit Pavlova Gin Liqueur was distilled in North Yorkshire by infusing the flavours of passion fruit and vanilla cream into a six botanical gin to mirror the taste of a passion fruit pavlova. It's perfect from summer and particularly delicious with an elderflower tonic.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

The passion fruit is very prominent, but vanilla, orange peel and juniper add depth.

Mrs Cuthbert's Passion Fruit Pavlova Gin Liqueur Reviews

Real let down

This tastes and smells of armpit sweat! Having had Riverside passionfruit gin liqueur before, this was a great disappointment. A friend bought this for me as a treat and I was highly let down. There is a taste of passionfruit but the smell/taste of sweat overwhelms any other taste. As someone Yorkshire born and bred, I had high hopes for this. However, I have realised that the red rose area is better than the white.

Aroma of sweat and mould overpowers any sweet passion fruit or pavlova

Very disappointing gin. Very strong aroma of sweat or mould. Although I can taste some passionfruit coming through, the smell is overpowering and I cannot drink it. I also bought a bottle for my friend and they also found the smell and flavour to be not as described and rather disgusting. We will not be drinking any more.

All the passion of an old shoe

Honestly? Not very good at all. Upon smelling, initial fruitiness is then overpowered by undertone of armpits. Yep! Not even kidding. Tried some and tasted worse. Really not worth it. Such a shame as it sounded amazing but really wish I hadn't bought it!
