Haroosh is a pleasingly-named brambleberry and whisky liqueur from Scotland. The scrummy brambleberries are harvested in Deeside, and are combined with the whisky as well as Deeside honey, resulting in a lip-smacking tipple to enjoy on a long summer evening. Also, say "Haroosh" out loud and appreciate how fun it is to say.

I have used this as a Scottish alternative to creme da cassis when making a Kier Royale. Absolutely sublime.
Don't be put off by it being whisky based - I'm not a whisky drinker, but the bramble is so sweet and strong that the whisky base really works. I had it in a bramble cocktail made with the eenoo gin from the same guys - really works!
I love it - try it in a Scottish 'Eton Mess' with blackberries and toasted rolled oats to replace the meringue! YUMMY!
