This splendid liqueur from Labourdonnais in Mauritius is built upon a base of the estate's pure sugar cane rum. A collection of spices, also grown at Labourdonnais, are allowed to macerate, imparting a rich array of flavour – just the thing for adding some tropical character to cocktails, or simply mixed with ginger beer and lime.
Sweet notes of cinnamon, dried exotic fruits, and plenty of baking spice. cloves, anise, and hints of nutmeg surround a hearty, warming core.
