A tremendous vanilla liqueur produced by macerating vanilla pods in the Rhumerie de Chamarel's premium rum (made from sugar cane juice, not molasses), a base that already has a vanilla note to it. Try using this liqueur in a cocktail or simply pour over plenty of ice.

Our hotel in Mauritius gave us a free half bottle and I was immediately hooked! It is so smooth and is a joy either before or after a meal. Not easy to find back in the UK but delighted that Master of Malt are now stocking it.
My first sample of this Liqueur was in 2013 at the Rhumerie de Chamarel in Mauritius, out of the several varieties of Rums and Liqueurs i instantly said that this was the best of the bunch. I bought 2 bottles of the stuff, in 2014 when i revisited Mauritius I went back to the same Rhumerie just to buy more of the Liqueur as its cheaper from the rhumerie gift shop (who would have thought) than in shops in Mauritius and abroad. It has a very smooth feel and taste, sweet but not overbearing, sip in small amounts and allow the flavour to come out. I would also recommend you visit the Rhumerie when in Mauritius, theya re very generous with sampling, probably one of the few tourist spot you can go to and get drunk on only about £7 for the guide fee.
This Chamarel Liqueur is absolutely divine, the beautiful taste of Vanilla rum is really superb. Bought two bottles at Rum Fest This year and had to stock up with another few more. Made my friends try it and they were totally amazed. Perfect end to a dinner, without reason or to drink in company.. Salut go and buy yourself a bottle or two!!!
This has to be one of the bestest vanilla liqueurs or vanilla rums I have ever tried. Got introduced to this back at rum fest and bought a couple of bottles now they have finished I have ordered another two more.. Really really good stuff this,..10/10
