A truly fabulous whiskey liqueur from Jack Daniel's. This stuff is made with a mix of rich spices and smooth, supple honey and the result is delicious over ice or in coffee.
Nose: Caramel and charred oak, a little orange blossom, manuka honey and vanilla.
Palate: Thick and creamy with notes of vanilla, toasty oak, honey again, a little apricot too.
Finish: Good length - rounded and rich.

Got offered this as a complementary after dinner drink at a Madrid restaurant. Word fail to convey how nasty this is, a sort of cough mixture, syrupy, gloop tasting of sweetened creosote.

If you are a real whiskey drinker you know the rule... it always has a beautiful heat finish. This product makes me wanna use it only for dessert purposes, like to make a cake or to pour over vanilla beam ice cream. Other than that, is not really made for a whiskey straight drink. I confess I've put 100% honey in some of my whiskey drinks. Even coconut water to smooth some down. But when I taste Jack Honey I feel like there's no real honey in it. Is like someone put some raw sugar spoons in with a bunch of spices. I really don't think they use real organic honey for the mix, and if they do, is a 5 or less in percentage, per bottle. I pass it in a shot, dessert or in a mixiology masterpiece, but not as a whiskey, cause it is not one.

If you like jack Daniels whiskey, but aren't a fan of the burn and heat of whiskey.I highly recommend JD honey,it's smooth and has a sweet honey after taste. Not as smooth if you drink straight from bottle I enjoy it chilled or over rocks

I am a Scotch drinker but love JD Honey. Smooth and easy to drink, sweet but not sickly. Very nice
14th March 2016
I don't know wtf all these negative commenters are sipping on, my god they make it sound like they cracked open a bottle of pixie sticks and poured it in a glass. Theres HONEY in it you morons! And HONEY is naturally sweet. That should give you salty bastards a fair warning of what your about to drink. I for one LOVE this drink, I like my whiskey on the rocks and this is just amazingly smooth. Now it is sweet, but nowhere near like how these guys are describing it, trust me, you know your still drinking whiskey. Its an excellent way to switch it up and treat your palate :) I bought a bottle of Wild Turkey American Honey, and that is a wonderful drink, but suprsingly JD nailed the natural honey taste a lot better than WT. Just my $.02 Enjoy !

I am not a Jack Daniels fan. BUT.... Man, this stuff is Jack on some wild global mind blowing experience. Smooth on another level. Thanks for making me a fan.
23rd February 2016
It works fine with ice and apple juice. It is the perfect match. Not very found of it, but it's very popular among newbies in the world of Whisky
6th February 2016
Smells great. Tastes great. Leaves a little after taste but all others who drank this with me agreed it was a worthy edition to a drinks cabinet
27th December 2015
The only reason I am on the internet right now is to figure out what to mix this garbage with. Right now the best thing I can think of is to mix it with cold water while pouring it down the drain.
26th December 2015
I hate whisky but jack Daniels flavour is amazing nectar from the gods.I never mix it I drink it neat, I let it roll over the tongue to savour the flavour it last longer that way.
25th December 2015
Wanting to try new things, my friend recommended JD honey with Mountain Dew,at first try with a sampler bottle it was great, went out and bought a bottle ,did my mix and boy woke up with an nasty headache( not a hangover) i think it has too much sweetness. I'll stick with my crown and Coke, sadly now i have a almost full bottle inn the fridge.

Big fan of Jack D. Could not make out ftom the label what this was, but at £15 for 70cl (£5 off) it seemed worth a try. It was not. It has an overpowering sickly sweet taste, no whisky bite, and no real honey flavour, just a glucosy chemical sweetness like a nasty sugar drink. For a real honey flavour go for a traditional Welsh mead or Breton chouchenn; this is a waste of bourbon, unless they use the dregs blended with Winnie the Poo's leftovers. Avoid it.
6th November 2015
I've had plenty of other honey flavored whiskies in the past, Jim Beam, Wild Turkey and Drambuie, and this is a pretty good one too. I really enjoy the Tennessee Honey. It has almost made me a loyal Jack Daniel's customer, but not to the extreme. It is my most purchased whiskey now, but there is still some good bourbon's out there that are worth treating yourself to every once in awhile when you get tired of you regular pour, mine now being Jack Daniel's of course. It's good, it's cheap and affordable. The taste for Tennessee Honey is you get syrupy honey in the front, roasted nuts, almonds and nutmeg, a bit of charred oak and charcoal in the finish, there is hints of honey through out.
22nd September 2015
If you don't like it, you are drinking it wrong.I love it pure with ice or add milk as well. The best
Not sure why there are a lot of people who dont like this one. To each his own, but damn I love this one! Its not for mixing. Neat or iced is great. It's definitely stronger than Jim Beam's honey.
20th August 2015
At least that's what it tastes like. Agree 100% with another reviewer's 'pancake syrup' assessment. This is rough to get down if you don't like insanely sweet drinks. I like regular JD But this is not a 'hint of' honey, this pretty much just tastes like a mouthful of honey. I'm gonna try mixing it 1/1 with regular JD and see if that's a better combo, but as is, I'm shocked anyone can drink it straight. That being said we all lie what we like and you should listen to yourself, this is just one man's opinion. Yeah it says 'liqueur" but I didn't expect it to be all liqueur and no whiskey. But that's just me. Wish I had coughed up more for a decent bottle of four roses, which I'd what I went in there to buy (yeah I know, how you go in for that and walk out with this I don't know, weird things happen when you shop with a few drinks in you)
23rd July 2015
Mix them with any liqour is had a bitter flavour or use this just like a sugar to your cocktail is will make a prefection. For someone say this is awful, why all your guys so dumb ass? The name of this is JACK DANIEL HONEY and honey always sweet and rich, drink them with ice or something is don't have the sweet flavour. Use this for a shot or not mix them with anything will make you have a bad review about this.
6th May 2015
As I'm writing this review I am actually enjoying a nice large glass with 3 chunks of ice of my new favourite drink & the name of this drink that has replaced Drambuie from its long, loyal Kingly Throne is Jack Daniels/Tennessee Honey. I can't get enough of the golden nectar & always stock up when it's on sale for £15 to £18. I go through it that fast that I have to out & pay the full price of £25 (whuch in all fairness I don't really mind). It took me a bottle or 2 to start to appreciate the classy taste but as soon as I started putting Ice with it that's when it all started to make sense to my taste buds. Drambuie was always my families & myselfs favourite drink before they changed the bottle & recipe (which the company still lies to to this day to people who write to complain & ask why it has changed but according to Drambuie it's still the same old drink but in a classless bottle,it insults people who have drank it for decades & know the difference, but keep telling them lies Drambuie & 1day even you might believe them but the original loyal drinkers of the Gift of The Prince will never believe it). Any after my long ramble give it a go & I can only recommend The Master of Malt for purchasing your drinks from as it is a true 5 star company that left myself speechless at how fast I received my bottles, I ordered them at 10-25pm on Monday & I had them in my hand the very next day on Tuesday at 10am & they were wrapped safe & secure, I recommend buying more than 1 bottle because it's the same price for postage on 1 or 4. Regards, David.

I always enjoy Jack Daniel's, but I just can't get into this. I searched expecting to find a lot of negative reviews and I'm surprise to find both extremes, and nothing really in the middle. Even mixed the honey is just too over powering for my liking.
9th February 2015
My friend had a bottle and I tried and it is amazingly delicious and smooth. Take it straight though! Also it smells so good!
8th February 2015
I ordered 3 bottles of JD from my local supermarket and received one plus 2 Honeyed.Tried the honeyed last night - it was/is Awful! how could they do this to such a noble drink?
3rd February 2015
my girl and I were exited to get it! then disappointed....
31st January 2015
So smooth, great flavour, cannot believe the negative comments must be a marmite drink you either love it or hate it, well I love it.
22nd January 2015
So nice with just ice, if you ruin this with cola you don't deserve to drink it
18th January 2015
If you enjoy Jack don't go there. If you want to, give it a try.
11th January 2015
Absolutely love Jack Daniels. My favourite drink. Absolutely hate this. Worst drink I've ever tasted. What were they thinking. Sooo sweet it's sickening
28th December 2014
I have always wanted to enjoy a whiskey but always struggled to drink it. A friend recommended this as a good starting point and served neat over ice I absolutely love it.
26th December 2014
I agree with Mr. Poor, nice to smell but god awful as a drink. Thinking it's like quality JD you're used to you're not ready for the sickly sweet aftertaste it leaves and no amount of Coke or Dr Pepper will help. It also gave us heartburn for 2 days. If you're JD lover stick to the good quality regular stuff!
if you like liqueur and you like Jack it is a pleasant surprise. Jack'sasterful blending touch shows here.tried the other honeyed whiskey and no where the smooth and finish.if you have no taste for honey you won't bother.Easy sipping' but it will sneak up and sting you!For the genre it represents it is king.
nice nose, awful palate. tasted absolutely terrible. so sweet it gave me goosebumps. imagine squeezing honey syrup into our mouth and adding some whip cream.
23rd December 2014
Has the greatest specific gravity I've ever encountered in a specialty whisky -- Sweet but not cloying, mellow, smooth.
22nd December 2014
Why are people giving a negative on this? It does not claim to be a good Whisky, its a liqueurjust enjoy it for wot it is, a sweet Bourbon drink!!!!
5th December 2014
Got this on special for $40. By far the worst drink I've ever tried! Even adding copious amounts of coke didn't help. In the end I had to tip it. (what a waste of coke) 1st drink that made me to scared to even give a second chance too. Shame on JD's for making something so bad! This wouldn't even be good value if you where paid to drink it. I'll give it a minus 5 star rating.
30th November 2014
I have it with ice, apple juice and a sprinkle of cinnamon powder.
20th November 2014
Don't expect this drink to keep you warm in winter. It tastes more like a milky bailey's than whisky. It does say whisky liqueur on the bottle to be fair though. Drunk neat is sticky and sweet of that what you want but with no warmth.
9th November 2014
it has to be almost the most perfect drink that you can sip on any day of the week, any hour. I belong to the Sons of Italy in Berlin, NJ and they started to carry it just for me, now they have to order more because others have discovered it and it goes fast - keep making, never stop
30th October 2014
I was flying home from SLC last night and saw this one on the menu. I usually drink single malt whiskies and on occasion, enjoy a bit of Drambuie straight up. I asked the flight attendant for some of the Jack Daniels since I didn't want a really strong drink in flight. This stuff is good. It's smooth, just the right amount of sweet and has some unique character. I will buy a bottle to add to my collection of whiskies.
14th October 2014
why are you so negative about this liqueur, it is obvious that this is not straight WHISKEY, on the bottle clearly says honey liqueur. Anyway, it is really smooth and kinda sweet, you can taste and smell Jack, it's fair price and it's nice quality. Pour it over ice, kick back and enjoy ;)
7th October 2014
Sweet, maple syrup, rich... very easy to drink, by itself, and a perfect step into the straight whisky game. Respect it for its place in the line.
6th October 2014
A horrible synthetic and unnatural taste. If someone found the honey let me know. Looks like medicine.
30th September 2014
My taste is not your taste that simple is it about every drink.I love it served chilled and never, never mixed with cola or something.I'm sure the ladies must love it to.
26th September 2014
Its very bad... One word says it best. Yuck. The honey note is too much.
25th September 2014
i am very surprised by this JD Honey and it's fair price, it's a very good blend, smooth, enjoyable, it is perfect for aperitife and later when kickback in chair
Only if your a scotch snob would you turn your nose on this elixir. For the other 99% of us... Try it (neat) and you'll love it.

the best whiskey ever
6th July 2014
It's great if you mix it with a glass of cold milk and some ice, it is like a sweet honey creamy drink to enjoy while relaxing
12th June 2014
A perfect mix of sweet honey and jack Daniels whiskey. perfect in the mouth and soothing on the tongue. a real must have for the cabinet. BY FAR MY FAVOURITE WHISKEY I'VE EVER TRIED.
10th June 2014
My favourite in Jack's cabinet.Perfect neat, the honey blend gives a smooth, sweet flavour. If you want to be wild, go for the "honey monster"One part Jack Daniels Honey to 2 parts green monster energy drink.Great taste and potent enough for nights out.
25th April 2014
I dont know where all these folks are reading where this is for mixing . It's great straight up and on ice . For some reason with this and so many others people think if you pay more its better , No so . Its a Great Whiskey at a good price , you dont always get what you pay for . And keeping up with the Jones and the rest of the Stuffed shirts will cost ya
27th February 2014
Loved it , Great straight up 10/10
Awesome drink. 10/10
14th February 2014
Really nice taste and perfect for sipping over ice, perfect blend of Whiskey and Honey in my opinion
26th December 2013
Not bad at all! But need drink an ice cold
12th November 2013
People are reviewing this as if it was a sipping whisky. JD themselves have marketed it as a mixer and a chilled shot, and thats what it's for. Its absolutely delicious, no better way to sweeten your iced tea in the summer. People are ready to hate on this distillery and it's just unfair.
21st September 2013
The honey in this liqueur takes over whatever whisky there is in the mix. Fine as a mixer, but don't buy if you plan on drinking straight.
3rd September 2013
one of the best Whiskies I've ever drank and I drink a lot fo whiskey!
14th July 2013
The sort of charcoal sweet and gluey taste of JD but with overpowered honey. But to be fair despite even the distiller's own claims it is pretty clear this is for mixing and not drinking on its own. Nice enough with orange juice and ice.
4th July 2013
Get a bottle of Drambuie. Better taste and much better value for money. Honestly, this was a big disappointment...
23rd May 2013
Picked up one of these after reading several recommendations on the web. Must say I am disappointed. It is drinkable but I expected a lot more at this price range. If you want a honeyed whisky taste, you can easily pick up a good bourbon or speyside at this price.
7th March 2013
It has a very rich palate and fantastic nose.
6th February 2013
Disgusting, overpowering and not a good whiskey whatsoever. Jack Daniel's whilst ok at what it does have created something that will tarnish their name even more. Nose: honey, glue, syrup. Palate: honey, bitter malt, sugary tarmac. Finish: oversweetened honey, syrup. Cannot recommend this whiskey, they should pull it from the market, especially at this price. NB... just noticed that this can't legally be called whiskey... at 35% it is a whiskey liqueur, pointless drink really.
