Rhubarb and ginger is a timeless combination - tangy sweetness and fiery spice just seem to go together so well. Not unlike Hall & Oates, just with fewer moustaches... Anyway, yes, this gin liqueur from the Half Crown range boasts generous helpings of rhubarb and ginger notes. If you love both of those flavours, the Half Crown folks have made your dreams come true (ooh ooh).
Peppery at first, but soon enough a tart burst of fresh rhubarb brings fruity sweetness to the palate.
Love it. So that's why I'm ordeing it. Lovely flavour.
Avoid. Horrible flavour, not like rhubarb and ginger- or even gin. Tastes like port or something mixed in with it. Ended up becoming a mystery mixer for the next random cocktail.
