Cassissée
Cassissée is a French Créme de Cassis produced by L'Héritier-Guyot, packed to the brim with fresh fruit juiciness and enjoyable aromatic touches.
Blackcurrant jam, fresh blackberries and a suggestion of sugary strawberries. A light, earthy waft of green leaves.
Not sure if it's sold outside Britian, but think alcholic Ribena!
Always great value, this cassis is my go-to choice and we love it on fruit after the main course. It also pairs very well with a Bourgogne aligoté to make a wonderful kir. I can recommend it highly to anyone looking for a cassis at a great price.
