An amaro-amaretto hybrid and savoury liqueur, Amarotto was the result of a two-year collaboration between The Gibson bar owner Marian Beke and the historic Casoni distillery, and was infused, distilled and bottled according to the protected traditions of the famous Italian family business.
Made to emulates a savoury almond snack flavour, this makes for a great twist on an Amaretto Sour. All you need is a splash of lemon and egg white and you’ve got a great drink, although you can always enjoy it with tonic, ginger beer, cola or coconut water if you prefer.
Softly smoky, though with a subtle hint of cherry and old fashioned cola cubes underneath.
