An oude genever from the Dutch company Wenneker, who also produce a wide variety of gin and liqueur. They allow a selection of spices and juniper to soak in the main malt and grain distillate in a special pot still for 3 days, before combining it with more malt and grain spirits and water, then maturing it in American oak casks.
Light, sweet notes of caramel at first, before peppery juniper and aromatic fennel develop.
