An excellent reserve grappa from Castello Banfi. This grappa is made from the pomace of sangiovese grapes harvested from vineyards grown near the medieval Poggio alle Mura castle. After double distillation, the grappa is aged in Slovenian oak casks for 18 months. Grappas are a fantastic option if you're looking for a digestif, and this one, with its balanced oak and spice, makes a particularly good choice.
