An intriguing grappa here from Bepi Tosolini, this Italian spirit has been matured in French oak barrels. The barrels were toasted and smoked by burning oak flakes and Kentucky tobacco leaves, so the ageing process imparts a fragrant smoky side to the grappa.
Hints of dry black pepper, oak spice and cigar box, with bold wood smoke and a smidge of butterscotch.
