“This is an amazing Gin. It’s light freshing and one of my best sellers at my gin bar. I mix with Fever Tree Mediterranean tonic which a generous wedge of pink grapefruit. In the summer my customers loved this gin with lemonade slush!!”

Description

The distillers behind Chase Gin have astutely figured out that combining pink grapefruit and pomelo makes for a supremely bright, zippy gin, topped off by its blushing pink hue. As you probably worked out already, this makes a brilliant G&T and shines in all manner of citrusy summery serves.

Overall

Fresh tropical fruit notes sit up front, with plenty of enjoyable citrus acidity at its core. Juniper notes act as a spicy foil to the full-bodied sweetness.

Makes an amazing Cocktail

A very refreshing cocktail served with Fever Tree Mediterranean Tonic and garnished with a slice of pink grapefruit and fresh rosemary - with lots of ice this is great summer cocktail

The reason I got in to gin

Just what it says on the bottle. Pop the cork and you get hit with a nose full of super zesty pink citrus. The palate is just as fruity, not overly spiced or floral, just great, clean, citrus gin. Definitely one to keep in the fridge next to a bottle of Fentimans rose lemonade and some lemon peel, but just as great with Fentimans pink grapefruit tonic and a sprig of rosemary.

So sad I can’t get it in the US

This gin is fantastic. You can smell the grapefruit the minute you pop the bottle. It mixes well with tonic, but my favorite treat is with Fentiman’s Rose Lemonade and a big pink grapefruit wedge. Hello summer. Can’t wait til they start shipping this pink gem to the US.
