An English gin, distilled at Herefordshire, from the same company that make Chase potato vodka. This is distilled from organic apples, and has a lovely crisp, fruity flavour.
Nose: Sweet with green apple laces, a little liquorice, juniper and elderflower. Perhaps even a hint of toffee...?
Palate: Crisp apples up front, slowly becoming juicier, with orange peels chiming in from the side. Dryer near the end with classic gin herbaceousness.
Finish: Refreshing with plenty of juniper and citrus.

A truly wonderful gin in a beautiful bottle, what more could you want!
26th November 2018
This one of a kind gin is absolutely stunning, with it being made from cider apples it gives it a unique finish and is beautiful with a light or elderflower tonic or as a martini - a definite favourite in my gin collection
12th November 2018
An outstanding, complex Gin with genuine heritage to match- rare to find a Gin distilled from apples, right next to the orchards themselves! The botanicals are unique and quite delicate in flavour for London Dry. Fantastic in a Martini with an apple twist.
7th November 2018
what's happened to this wonderful gin. botanicals have gone out of balance either the recipe has changed or its being distilled with cheap spirit. very disappointing
1st August 2018
Best gin I’ve ever tried, this has a smoothness I haven’t seen in any other. The botanicals are so well integrated into the spirit, none of them are over-powering and making it perfect for drinking neat or serving in a G&T. Best with a slice of apple which works with the apple spirit base.

This gin is a belter. Really refreshing, smooth and holds its taste with a splash of tonic. I'm amazed with a couple of the negative reviews below... I've drunk A LOT of gins and this is right up there as one of the best.
23rd April 2018
Love this with fevertree tonic and a slice of fresh ginger (yes really). Juniper taste is there but nit the overly perfumed juniper pong. #1 as far as I’m concerned
21st April 2018
Really didn't like it - tasted too much of aniseed for me which is a shame as I LOVE their vodkas! Prefer more citrusy notes.
10th April 2018
A little different but a tier above most other Gins. Lovely in a tonic with or without garnish
3rd November 2017
My absolute favourite. Needs just a splash of fever tree tonic and some ice. Then sip and enjoy the multitude of flavours.
30th September 2017
Got this and a slab of BTW tonic, love it. It needs nothing else in it, very refreshing and strong too. If it wasn't Monday when I tried it I may have ended up utterly shitfaced.
16th August 2017
With a slice of crisp sharp apple this makes my perfect G&T for a summer evening. I love it.
24th May 2017
The least favourite gin ive tasted in years. Not really gin imo.
19th April 2017
Fantastic gin. Don't understand why so many poor reviews when if you Google top ten gins (which I know is personal taste) it comes out top or very high.I thought it was very good and extremely smooth. No idea about the vodka as this is the gin section.
19th March 2017
This is a fantastic gin, its really refreshing to taste something different to the norm!
23rd December 2016
This is something very different, a must try!
12th December 2016
A truly unique gin. Full of flavour, you can really taste the natural freshness of apples coming through from the underlying spirit. Williams Elegant 48 Gin is another fantastic product coming out of Chase Distillery who seem to set the bench mark for single estate distilling.
5th December 2016
Great long drink, recommend with Fevertree ElderFlower tonic.
24th November 2016
As a vodka it's great, as a gin its lacking
2nd July 2016
I really love the William Chase Extra Dry Gin. I can't relate to this particular gin - I can't put my finger on what is not right for me - until I read a review just below and thought, "that's it, odd taste".
very odd taste - is this gin?
20th June 2016
I have to agree with earlier review - simply the best. Tried this at gin of the week event and absolutely love it with Fever Tree tonic
17th April 2016
Very straight, more like vodka, can't really feel the botanicals, so if you like vodka go for it
4th March 2016
Must be one of the smoothest gins available. Love it. Almost a shame to mix it, but makes a great martini.
23rd November 2015
Not tried this with tonic but with bitter lemon this is an absolutely beautiful drink. I agree with the vodka comments from other reviewers in some respects (neat it is very vodka-ish) but I have to say that as a long drink, I love it. It is very smooth and has a lovely toffee apple after taste
6th July 2015
Far too ethanolic for a straight up G&T. Actually very unpleasant. The 48% alcohol dominates everything. Great for a martini, poor for anything else. Can't taste any of the botanicals......... At close to £40 a bottle, disappointing to say the least

Bought for wife's birthday, she know's her gin this one is the " Tina Turner" simply the best !!!!😄
15th March 2015
Bought for a friends dinner party the other week, we all had to bring our own gin and this won hands down. Made a simple g & t with lot's of ice but garnished with an apple slice. Amazing story about the owners too, in fact one of the only gins on the market who make their spirit from scratch. A true gem and worth every penny!
19th November 2014
I've tried varios gins recently and out of the new ones I've been introduced to monkey47,sipsmiths,Williams,heindricks,tanquery 10 and bulldog I must say Bulldog for me is the best. I'm afraid Williams reminds me of Squires
8th November 2014
well I am glad I only bought a small 50cl sample rather than a big bottle. I couldn't even finish this gin and tonic. sorry, for me, totally missed the mark. perhaps sell as an apple vodka.
17th October 2014
As with the last RV this gin is expensive yet has the oddest flavour. Tastes somewhat cheap, maybe like the flavour imparted by really old ice that has been in your freezer for years. Disliked it. only drink it after Ive had a few so Im less discerning. shame for the heritage and price
10th September 2014
I have to say, that this is, to date, the only bottle of Gin that I've ever given away... to 3 different people because none of them liked it. It has a strange flavour that seems to resemble the vodka it comes from more than the gin it is. I appreciate that a lot of people seem to enjoy it, but unfortunately, not a single friend or family member could stand it. Shame for the price too :(.
3rd September 2014
IM BIG FAN OF GIN, WILLIAMS IS THE BEST
6th June 2014
Was a little hesitant with the review saying it was more like Vodka, and another saying unpleasant. Made from apples, into cider, into vodka, into gin. I have to say I was bowled over. This to date is THE nicest gin I have ever had. Being 48%, 3 doubles was more than enough for a good night.

Incredible! I may have had one too many but you can really taste the apple and it's incredibly smooth. 10/10 all day long for me!
Ill one try the rating!

Lovely gin and all gins , actually all spirits are gluten free. Only problems you will have are beers and lagers. ( a coeliac for. 50 years)
This smells more like vodka than gin, and unfortunately, I have to say the same for the taste. It's drinkable, but I definately don't rate it as a gin.
23rd August 2013
Lovely tasting gin. Only question I have is, is it gluten free, i.e. no wheat, malt, barley etc., as I have celiac disease.
18th August 2013
A not very Gin like Gin. Nice enough but I wont buy it again
31st July 2013
An amazing gin. Full of flavour andwith fever tree tonic a memorabledrink. One is enough and a veryspecial drink.
5th July 2013
Ooops, forgot to give it a rating
7th April 2013
To date, easily the best gin I have tried. Distilled from vodka which was itself distilled from cider and not potatoes, it is full of flavour and wonderful aromas. A real treat!
very smooth and complex, notes of roses
19th December 2010
Didn't like it at all. Unusual and unpleasant taste
