Colonsay Gin

Based on Scotland's Isle of Colonsay, the husband and wife team of Finlay and Eileen Geekie are the minds behind Colonsay Gin. Made with a simple but robust selection of botanicals including juniper, Angelica Root, Calamus Root, and Coriander, Colonsay Gin is bottled at 47% ABV, making it a good choice for cocktails and mixed drinks.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Hearty helpings of bright, oily juniper greet you right away, with earthy/root-sy notes in tow. A touch of citrus sweetness develops underneath.

Reviews for Colonsay Gin
First try
I visited colonsay for the weekend and thought I would give it a try knowing the were a local distillery. I wasn't impressed though.Very average Gin at a premium price.Nice bottle design but apart from that no stand out features for me.

Expensive for a gin
I visited colonsay for the weekend and bought a bottle on my return to London.Wasnt keen in all honestly on the taste. The bottle design is nice but it's very similar to Gordon's and double the price.

Nice bottle but lacked finish.
I found it very bland and dull. Very expensive for a poor gin.

The richness of its flavours will create an explosion of awe on your taste buds. A must-taste for any real gin lover!
This is the best gin I ever tasted. Bought it by chance in a delicacy shop and instantly fell in love with the richness of aromas that exploded on my taste buds. I proposed it for tasting to some Scottish gin lovers and they were all instantly converted! If you're a gin lover, this is a must try! I'll be damned if you won't succumb to it's charms!
