While the original Whitley Neill Gin is inspired by the exotic flavours of Africa, their Rhubarb & Ginger Gin variation takes inspiration from closer to the Whitley family's homestead.
Enjoyably fruity on the nose, with rhubarb preserve and baked apple. Hints of leafy herbs grow in the background.
Orange, ginger and coriander arrive on the palate, though it's still dominated by rhubarb. A core of earthy juniper builds.
A tangy touch of tartness appears later on, balanced by black pepper and gingerbread.

Delicious, full of flavour and easy drinking. Would happily buy again to drink ourselves or give as a gift.
Tried this recently after becoming a gin convert. Loved the Edinburgh gin so tried this one, very tasty with Fevertree ginger ale and so chopped citrus fruit and ice, although very easy to drink, perhaps too easy!!
I love this stuff
