While the original Whitley Neill Gin is inspired by the exotic flavours of Africa, their Rhubarb & Ginger Gin variation takes inspiration from closer to the Whitley family's homestead.
Enjoyably fruity on the nose, with rhubarb preserve and baked apple. Hints of leafy herbs grow in the background.
Orange, ginger and coriander arrive on the palate, though it's still dominated by rhubarb. A core of earthy juniper builds.
A tangy touch of tartness appears later on, balanced by black pepper and gingerbread.

A bit weird, tastes nothing like rhubarb, not sure.
Very strange! Tastes like Jelly Beans! Sorry - not to my taste. Regret buying this.
Omg just had this and it's amazing ..... Probably the best Gin I have ever tasted
Not too sure on this one..... it tastes absolutely nothing like the Edinburgh Rhubarb and Ginger gin. There's a very sweet, flowery / vanilla flavour (I think) behind the Whitley Neill gin but after a few mouthfuls, the bite of the ginger slowly comes through. I tried it first of all with original tonic just so I could compare it to others I've tried. I did try to find a "serves" suggestion on the website but to be perfectly honest, the website is too arty farty rather than giving you the information you really want to read - like, how to drink it!
Fantastic taste with ginger ale and ice - totally recommend this drink. This is a totally amazing gin.
