While the original Whitley Neill Gin is inspired by the exotic flavours of Africa, their Rhubarb & Ginger Gin variation takes inspiration from closer to the Whitley family's homestead.
Enjoyably fruity on the nose, with rhubarb preserve and baked apple. Hints of leafy herbs grow in the background.
Orange, ginger and coriander arrive on the palate, though it's still dominated by rhubarb. A core of earthy juniper builds.
A tangy touch of tartness appears later on, balanced by black pepper and gingerbread.

Awful gin, the worst I've tasted. I naively thought all rhubarb & ginger gin would taste roughly the same but this is hideous. Sickly sweet, smells no better than it tastes...just wasted £26 on a bottle that I won't drink any more of. Yuk
Artificially sweet smelling, a little like cheap 'pop', with little discernible in the way of rhubarb or ginger in taste or smell. My apologies if this sounds rude.
Dreadful. Couldn’t detect the rhubarb only an awful sickly sweet artificial tasting flavour. The worst gin I have ever tasted.
Absolutely amazing best I’ve tried
I love gin, rhubarb and ginger and luckily this brands combines all three. This gin is beyond awesome and anyone who thinks otherwise clearly has no taste!
