While the original Whitley Neill Gin is inspired by the exotic flavours of Africa, their Rhubarb & Ginger Gin variation takes inspiration from closer to the Whitley family's homestead.
Enjoyably fruity on the nose, with rhubarb preserve and baked apple. Hints of leafy herbs grow in the background.
Orange, ginger and coriander arrive on the palate, though it's still dominated by rhubarb. A core of earthy juniper builds.
A tangy touch of tartness appears later on, balanced by black pepper and gingerbread.
Very disappointed with this Gin I think they forgot to add the ginger ! Would not recommend.
Revolting. Tastes like a pink plastic unicorn took a pee in a bottle of Calpol. And the stench - like perfume a child would buy from a pound shop.
Incredible ! If you love ginger and rhubarb , and are a gin fan, you should love this! It only needs some ice and it’s good to go! This is our very favorite !
