While the original Whitley Neill Gin is inspired by the exotic flavours of Africa, their Rhubarb & Ginger Gin variation takes inspiration from closer to the Whitley family's homestead.
Enjoyably fruity on the nose, with rhubarb preserve and baked apple. Hints of leafy herbs grow in the background.
Orange, ginger and coriander arrive on the palate, though it's still dominated by rhubarb. A core of earthy juniper builds.
A tangy touch of tartness appears later on, balanced by black pepper and gingerbread.

Very smooth and tastes great with ginger ale and mint.
Tasted at a local gin Festival. My favourite of the moment, but I do have a sweet tooth!
Shocking....belongs in a cocktail bar!!!!
Discovered this at a Gin Festival on Saturday, two bottles purchased immediately! It is very 'fruity' so not everyone's idea of gin, could be dangerous tho, as it's very easy to drink....
A pleasant, fun gin. A lingering biscuity taste, if a little synthetic. The Corner shop sweets flavour actually is part of the enjoyment, expected with the colour of the bottle, hardly expect it to be a refined product! Good with light FT tonic or Ginger ale.
