While the original Whitley Neill Gin is inspired by the exotic flavours of Africa, their Rhubarb & Ginger Gin variation takes inspiration from closer to the Whitley family's homestead.
Enjoyably fruity on the nose, with rhubarb preserve and baked apple. Hints of leafy herbs grow in the background.
Orange, ginger and coriander arrive on the palate, though it's still dominated by rhubarb. A core of earthy juniper builds.
A tangy touch of tartness appears later on, balanced by black pepper and gingerbread.

Absolutely love this Gin , smooth , not to sweet ! My favourite !
Lovely gin with aromatic tonic with berries and a few strawberries supered
Tastes synthetic, horribly like a frootshoot, really unpleasant in a G&T. Vile really. Very regretful of the £25 I spent on it.
It's interesting reading the reviews below. People seem to be in the 'love it' or 'hate it' brigade. I have to say I love it - it's probably my favourite gin at the moment. Like others I just drink it with tonic and ice.
Nothing positive to say about this which is a real shame, the original Whitley Neill gin is a really easy pleasant everyday gin! Leave it be Whitley, flavours are not your strong point!
