Buttery puff pastry, jammy cherries, ground almonds and thick, creamy vanilla custard.
No taste of Cherries or Almonds whatsoever more like burnt plastic. Cannot drink it at all it's going down the sink!!
For a premium gin this is dreadful. Flavourless rubbish - it says cherries and almonds. Neither in evidence. bad spirit aftertaste as the other reviewer said. Avoid
Received this recently as a present and don't understand the last reviews as I absolutely loved it! Nice berry flavour with hints of almond without being too sweet. I tried it with full fat tonic and lemonade and actually preferred it with tonic.
Taste is awful. I love Gin and I have to say this is the worst I’ve tried. It’s so bland and has the worst aftertaste.
Bought this today and couldn't wait to try it. Opened it this evening and was disappointed to say the least. None of us could really taste the flavour ( 4 of us) and when mixed we found it had a weird taste. Have bought lots of Gin and Vodkas from small independent businesses and this was one of the most expensive but not the nicest.
