Wheadon's Gin is produced on Guernsey by the Wheadon family, which has a long history of Guernsey-based alcohol production and distribution. The particular expression juxtaposes the coastal awesomeness of locally-foraged rock samphire with the sweetness (and enjoyable bitterness) of pink grapefruit, alongside classic juniper spice.
Fresh grapefruit arrives first, shortly followed by oily juniper and intense cinnamon warmth. Savoury samphire gives it an earthy, coastal edge.
My absolute favourite gin at the moment, highly recommended.
