I’d expected a more spicy gin but I’m not disappointed. I thought a spicy tonic would bring the flavours out more but it suppressed them. I’ve enjoyed this gin but it’s not one I would rush to buy again.
This is a great Gin or perhaps a hidden gem with light spring like taste but such smooth lush thirst quenching lemon notes which hits with medium strench spicyness. Very well balanced and a go to lunch time or early evening gin before the punchier heavy hitters.
This is absolutely sublime...A very thirst quenching lemon taste with nice spicy notes that don't out do each other. Lots of good balance. I find this to be a clever gin because of how subtle the flavours combine but keeps it interesting to pour another. In some ways it reminds me of plymouth navy strength in terms of smoothness and overall citrus subtleties.
