Three Wrens Bison Grass Gin

Three Wrens Bison Grass Gin

Three Wrens Bison Grass Bottling Note

The first ever gin to be flavoured with sweet grass 'Hierochloe Odorata' (a type of Bison Grass to you and me) grown at the small Three Wrens Distillery of Cheshire, England. It is produced with 13 different botanicals, before being further infused with bison grass. The Three Wrens Distillery likes to source its botanicals locally, and all the bison grass used to infuse this gin was grown at the distillery. So, y'know, that's pretty bloomin' local.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Lives up to the name, with aromas of dried grass, straw and citrus.

Palate Beautifully balanced, light and herbaceous, with a distinct grassiness, followed by notes citrus and a slight sweetness.

Finish A final note of summer herbs.

Overall A marriage of sweet and savoury flavours that are evocative of summer.

Absolute winner
Wow. Just wow. Superlative gin. Lemongrass and a big hit of fresh piney juniper too. Tried with fresh apple juice and was amazing!
