To create this exciting gin, The Wrecking Coast distillery in Tintagel macerate 12 botanicals in grain spirit for a fortnight before running through a computer controlled iStill (no, really). Meanwhile, the signature botanical, Cornish clotted cream, is cold distilled in a vacuum still before the two spirits are blended together!
Though clotted cream adds a creamy depth to the spirit, the prominent flavours are of wonderful garden-y floral notes and peppery spice. Recommended serves are either neat over ice or with tonic, strawberries and lime.
A creamy mouthfeel carries notes of vibrant, earthy juniper, vanilla pod and honeyed floral. Hints of angelica root and peppercorn stick around in the background.
Couldn’t work out how the cream was relevant. Zero flavour just a below average attempt at craft gin
Not a fan of this gin. Tastes more of a garden than clotted cream. Not a fan. Will stick with glittery unicorn.

Whose paying for these reviews no hint of clotted cream at all. A distinctly inferior oily gin.
