The Old Curiosity Gin range already features a wonderfully fragrant rose-based expression - so the producers must think their Damask rose variation is pretty special indeed. We'd agree. It's made with Damask rose, a very well-known variety of rose much adored for its powerful fragrance. They distil the petals, then add it to a base of featuring juniper, coriander, angelica and winter savoury. After this, they allow some dried Damask rose petal to infuse in the gin, giving it a golden hue which changes to pink when mixed with tonic.
Bright floral top-notes, with a hint of savoury basil and mint underneath. Oily juniper and fresh lavender.
