Outlander's Sam Heughan has managed to capture (and distil) the essence of Scotland's rugged landscapes with this addition to his Sassenach spirits range – Wild Scottish Gin! This London dry style gin is distilled with an array of foraged botanicals from the Dumfries and Galloway region of Scotland, where Heughan grew up.
A core of Scottish juniper is supported by rhubarb, heather, pine resin, bramble leaf, blaeberry, crabapple, and toasted oats to create a well-balanced classic that'll shine in a trusty G&T, garnished with a slice of apple. This gin has been winning awards left right and centre, including gold at the 2023 New York World Wine & Spirits Competition, the Singapore World Spirits Competition, the Spirits Business Autumn Tasting, and the Beverage Testing Institute.
Light apple and fruits balance delicate pine, bound by creamy, soft notes of soaked oats.
Juniper is balanced with notes of apple, rhubarb and some subtle floral notes from the heather.
Crisp, fresh fruits with some subtle underlying spice and earthy notes.

A really lovely gin, smooth and delicious! We had ours with sliced green apple for NYE… really enjoyable! Also in a beautiful bottle that looks lovely on any drinks trolley.
I ordered this and it was delivered safely and fast to me in New Zealand! Absolutely delicious, especially on these hot days we are having! The flavour is next level! Such a treat, just went to order more, sold out?hopefully it comes back into sock soon!
I ordered 3 bottles of Sassenach Gin as gifts for family . Everything about the process was professional, time to arrive, how the bottles were packaged, and a follow up to ascertain how I felt about your product. Once I taste the gin I will review ?
… which is why I adore THIS gin. For me the first tasting notes are those of pine, & after a deep inhale, it’s the rhubarb along with the crab apple. Drunk only with a wee bit of ice (because I bloody detest tonic), the mouth feel is amazing. The fact that it is cold brewed ensures that the flavours are sublime and subtle — not charging around the mouth like an insane moth. This drink is so distinctly different, it has created a new category for those of us who cannot abide ‘gin’. Slàinte
I’ve recently discovered gins & am enjoying this one. Really lovely flavour & am not surprised it’s winning awards everywhere. Great as a simple G&T but also really good in cocktails.
