Said to be the city’s first commercial distillery in over 200 years, The Newcastle Distillery Co. has created a London Dry Gin that boasts sumac, orange peel, Iranian hibiscus and rose petals among its nine botanicals, with three top secret ingredients in there as well. It's distilled using a vapour botanical basket before being brought down to a bottling strength of 43% ABV with Newcastle City water.
Subtle tart red berry notes alongside piney juniper, oily orange peel and fragrant citrus on a floral rose finish.
