Sheep's Eye Gin Bottling Note
Only fans of Guys and Dolls will understand why a company called The Lickerish Tooth would produce a gin called Sheep's Eye, but we do rather like this quirky creation. The plague doctors over at the Licker Mill use 10 botanicals including juniper, celery seed, black pepper and thyme, infusing them in spirit before redistilling. For a gin and tonic, they suggest a lime wedge garnish.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose: Quite sweet and floral - they have a hibiscus vodka, is there some in here? - working well with the juniper.
Palate: More juniper (this is a proper gin), citrus, cinnamon and honey, with cracked black pepper developing.
Finish: Crisp and refreshing with some peppery warmth lingering.

Fab in cocktails!
I bought this to try in cocktails as an experiment. I love the bottle and the drink inside is even better! Goes really well with lime and citrus flavours!

Brilliant gin. I love the quirky design but also the flavour.

Awful
I really can't decide which botanical gives this an animal taste, most unpleasant. I can't agree that it is a 'proper gin'.

Smooth and refreshing!
Bought this in Grosmont village shop because it’s a local gin. It has a definite licorice taste which is delicious! Probably one of my top 3!!!

Suprisngly disappointed
Suprisngly disappointed.
I wouldn't say it was horrible in taste but previous reviews and tasting notes led me to buy, what I believed to be a very junipery gin.
Juniper is hidden by a liquorice taste which is not suggested above.
If you are looking for a junipery gin this is not your gin .
Very unique in tasting, but liquorice definitely masks all other botanicals.
