A gin made solely with botanicals that have been sent to space? Yeah, go on then! Juniper, coriander, cubeb pepper, fresh lemon peel, camomile flowers, cardamom, dried bitter orange peel, cinnamon, liquorice root and angelica were all sent into the stratosphere at an altitude of at least 24km where they were exposed to extremely low pressures (after 18 or 19km the pressure is already so low that water and fluids in the body boil at body temperature!). Oh yeah, That Boutique-y Gin Company also used moon rock from a lunar meteorite as a botanical, because why not?! An unspeakably cool gin for anyone who ever dreamt of being a space explorer as a kid, or enjoys looking up at the stars, or simply loves gin!

Batch 1 is a release of 1,000 bottles.
Nose: Candied peels, starfruit, warming jupiter juniper and lemon thyme.
Palate: Cassia and black pepper. Rounded citrus flesh sweetness, with a subtle savoury edge.
Finish: A touch of lemon sherbet, but it doesn't make things overly sweet as it's balanced by the coriander seed and notes of ginger beer and grapefruit.
Overall: Out of this world!

This is a lot more than just a gimmick - the flavour of this gin is really really good - super-fresh, and I was very surprised how strong the botanicals come through. It's delicious.
