A gin made solely with botanicals that have been sent to space? Yeah, go on then! Juniper, coriander, cubeb pepper, fresh lemon peel, chamomile flowers, cardamom, dried bitter orange peel, cinnamon, liquorice root and angelica were all sent into the stratosphere at an altitude of at least 20km where they were exposed to extremely low pressures (after 18 or 19km the pressure is already so low that water and fluids in the body boil at body temperature!). Oh yeah, That Boutique-y Gin Company also used moon rock from a lunar meteorite as a botanical, because why not?! An unspeakably cool gin for anyone who ever dreamt of being a space explorer as a kid, or enjoys looking up at the stars, or simply loves gin!
Batch 2 is a release of 2,200 bottles.
Candied peels, starfruit, warming jupiter, no wait juniper, and lemon thyme.
Cassia and black pepper. Rounded citrus flesh sweetness, with a subtle savoury edge.
A touch of lemon sherbet, but it doesn't make things overly sweet as it's balanced by the coriander seed and notes of ginger beer and grapefruit.
Out of this world!
I have just finished my third bottle ...I like the peppery touch to this classic gin ..I genuinely love this and not only because I am Chairman of an Astronomical Club (the reason my wife got me a bottle in the first place.)
Totally loved this one day two of my advent calendar. Sadly only had one mouthful and then knocked the glass and contents on the floor. Smashed glass but I have others. No more Moonshot ?
This gin helped me increase the testing regimen in my Local health board during a global pandemic. Highly recommended.
Yum! This is a really nice gin. Exactly as M of M describe. Shame its only sold in half bottles! One of my faves!
One of my favourites from the Ginvent Calendar Just wish it was a bigger bottle!!
