Master of Malt exclusive!
We teamed up with the folks from That Boutique-y Gin Company to create an exclusive and incredibly delicious gin! After working some wizardry on the herbaceous recipe (expect the awesomeness of basil, rosemary and thyme wafting through more traditional gin botanicals), plenty of magic was used in making the label, a dense tapestry of Master of Malt history influenced by an episode of everyone’s favourite cartoon family. It includes the time Kristy met a famous Instagram dog, the Charity Run of the Bumblebee, and even the shed where the masterofmalt.com adventure all began. Ahh, memories...
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Through aromatic cinnamon and earthy herbs – basil and thyme – there’s warm citrus from orange peel and cardamom as well as refined, pine-y juniper and additional floral touches.
Palate
The palate has a wonderfully rich mouthfeel. More baking spice emerges among a waft of orange blossom, lemon peel and a warm honey-esque sweetness. Bittersweet earth and garden herb notes are prominent throughout.
Finish
It’s a peppery, piney and long finish, with a sprig of rosemary thrown in for good measure.
Overall
Pretty darn excellent – if we do say so ourselves...
