Dead King Gin TBGC

Dead King Gin? Have That Boutique-y Gin Company gone too far this time?! Of course not. Part of its sensory Olfactor-y range, this gin makes use of the aromatics used in an embalming, and these include juniper berries, honey, myrrh, moss and other fragrant botanicals. If that's not enough to convince you, consider the fact that the magnificent label is golden and etched with Hieroglyphics, for your inner pharaoh.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Rose Turkish Delights, elderflower cordial and Witch-hazel solution provide a complex, floral and sweet opening. Citrus blossom, soft juniper and a little anise add depth.

Palate Soft and spicy juniper leads with hints of rose petal jam, honey and a touch of liquorice underneath. A little pink grapefruit bitterness and some spice from cardamom and cubeb emerge with time.

Finish Warming spiced citrus notes linger.

Overall All in all, rather delightful stuff. Apart from the death of the King. Obviously...
