Tanqueray Malacca Gin

Officially re-launched in the beginning of 2013, Tanqueray's limited edition Malacca is a sweet, spicy gin with increased levels of citrus. This is not dissimilar to some of the old-fashioned styles of Old Tom gin, and it works very well in cocktails.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Rich, intense spices on the nose with hints of citrus zest, allspice and lemon curd. A little pine needle.

Palate Thick spices with barley sugar, boiled sweets and earthy juniper. A hint of coriander seed, citrus rind and stem ginger.

Finish Allspice and ginger, black pepper.

Overall Very spicy and intense.

Amazing Gin. I am honored to say i have 1 sealed bottle in perfect condition from the original 1st release. In 2014 i also bought 2 bottles of the second release also sealed and unopened. If you are serious about gin.. this is a must in the whos who of Gin circles. All sitting nicely in my collection until i can find a better reason to let them go.

The best
Simply amazing. Sweet but complex flavour. Light, citrus notes. Ideal G&T or olive martini. I own quite a few gins, this is my favourite. Not cheap, if you can get it!
