    Great bold London dry gin

This for me is a classic London dry gin with bold classic juniper/pine flavours. I love it in a negroni as it has enough umph to complement the other ingredients compared to milder gins. I agree with others that you feel the alcohol a bit more in your mouth, and they have reduced the alcohol % recently, but for me I can't tell the difference.

    Excellent for a dry martini

One of the best for a dry martini or Gibson, especially when combined with a good vodka (Black Cow for example) and a dry vermouth.

    Diluted Again !

I was just about to order this on the 3 for 2 deal when I noticed this is a further watered down version. Tanquray used to be 46% ABV, then Gordons watered it down to 43%, now seemingly 41 1/2%, no longer an “Export” Gin in my view, nor so suitable for very dry Martini. Disingenuous to describe this as “:Original Recipe when it is so watered down from the original.

Easily the best Gin in the world.

It's unbelievable to think this Gin was made in 1830 and its still one of the best in the world with all the new ones that have popped up. It has a distinctly juniper forward aroma that delivers in flavour and also has a lovely peppery lemony-ness. The best London Dry out there and for a decent price! Makes an amazing Gin and Tonic and perfect Gin for mixing. Truly a league of its own.

Quality in it's flexibility, don't underestimate.

True to say this gin is nothing amazing but, it has a very nice balanced, sweet side flavour to it, the strength provides some push, and it's trump card I've found is that I've mixed it with all manor of tonic flavours and fruits and it always delivers something different {see 'A good cocktail bar staple' review}. I'ts versatility alone should keep it in most peoples gin selection.
