“This is an unusual and beautifully crafted gin! My senses were not expecting that much of an assault. The pith of the orange and half of the herb garden!! I'm sold on this. Great on its own, but nice with a good tonic water as well... Well worth a go!”

Description

Stirling Gin is distilled at the Old Smithy, an 1888 blacksmith's forge at the foot of Scotland's Stirling Castle. This London dry-style gin is made with a total of six botanicals, including nettles hand-foraged from the Stirlingshire countryside. Not a botanical you come across all too often, must take a good pair of gloves... The team recommends enjoying it topped with Mediterranean tonic, a twist of orange, and a fresh basil leaf.

Overall

Vibrant, juniper-driven with bright citrus, slightly herbaceous, gently sweet, with a peppery tang.

Unusually amazingly unusual... If that makes sense?

Nice

My local gin, very different to any other. Refreshing when garnished with orange and basil as the distillers recommend
