A brilliant dry gin from the crew at Steel River, commemorating some local history from their home in north east England. Locomotive No.1 was the first train to run on the Stockton to Darlington Railway back in 1825, becoming the first ever to run on a public railway! Botanicals include coriander, cardamom, rosehips, elderflower, grapefruit, goji berries, calamus root, and blackberries, which we like to imagine in the voice of a train conductor, reading out all the stops we'll be calling at. Next station, juniper!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Delicate berries and florals balance upon a bold core of resinous juniper, with woody spices and citrus zest bringing a crisp, dry finish.
