I confess that although an apocalypse gin seems strangely appropriate in current times, I was a little put off by the label / marketing. After all, a decent product doesn’t usually need a sci-fi backstory to sell it. However, I caught it on offer & decided it was worth a go. The bottle isn’t anything special but it has a cork & frankly who cares what the bottle looks like if the gin’s good... and it is. Fresh, clean, quite grassy with citrus & pine. The juniper’s clear and there’s a nice quinine hit too. Pleasant & refreshing with Indian tonic water.
