Description
A top quality, handcrafted gin from the Swedish island of Hven, situated in the Öresund Strait between Denmark and Sweden. It is an organic wheat gin that is both pot distilled and oak matured with botanicals such as juniper, grains of paradise, citrus, Sichuan pepper, aniseed, and guinea pepper. The oak maturation gives this an oily and smooth mouthfeel lending itself well for everything from cocktails to cooking.
In fact, Spirit of Hven Organic Gin is the only gin served at Copenhagen's Noma, the Best Restaurant in the World (Restaurant Magazine 2010, 2011, 2012 & 2014).

Nose
Elegant with fresh citrus in balance with vanilla and gentle juniper.
Palate
There's a depth of flavour here and a quality that's clearly evident. Warming Sichuan pepper and anise aren't overpowering.
Finish
Citrusy, oily, long and smooth aftertaste.
Overall
A little slice of heaven on earth.
