A navy strength gin from Spirit of Hven, the distillery on a tiny island in the Öresund strait between Sweden and Denmark.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Cinnamon, red berries and orange - somewhat reminiscent of an amaro! Oily juniper notes underneath.
Palate
The additional strength really impacts the palate with spicy Sichuan pepper, cassia and cumin. A touch of grilled pineapple sweetness.
Finish
Subtle sweetness of raspberry returns for the finish.
