Smeaton's Bristol Method Dry Gin is made using specially-sourced base spirit and a selection of eight botanicals - juniper, angelica, calamus, cinnamon, coriander, liquorice, orange and orris. Each botanical is distilled separately when its fresh, then blended together to create the final gin.
Earthy juniper and cinnamon, with lingering freshness of orange. A touch of fennel seed, too.

Now my favourite gin, and I’m not sure I can go back to others. Fresh botanicals sing in the glass.
There gins aplenty but this one sits apart - well balanced, smooth, a definitive taste and justifies it’s premium tag. So far only sampled with Fevertree, lemon and ice. Wondering which vermouth washed around the glass might do it justice in a martini.....
... also 45%, which may explain the finger trouble!
Stunning gin - smooth and complex neat. Great in a martini. Best G&T I’ve ever had (with standard Fevertree, no garnish). Wow...
